A Vecow ignition firmware update may fail or cause the MCU to crash due to two primary reasons:
1. Power Interruption or Incorrect Input: Removing power during the update process can result in incomplete installation, rendering the storage drive unusable, while inputting incorrect power settings when using the firmware burning tool can directly crash the MCU.
2. Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Events: Static electricity can corrupt internal data, software, or firmware without visible physical damage, leading to complete data loss on the IPC hard drive or causing permanent catastrophic hardware failures by melting internal metallic connections or breaking down semiconductor junctions. To prevent failure, ensure a stable power supply and proper ESD grounding throughout the update process.
