To clear the CMOS on a Vecow industrial computer when the system cannot boot, follow these steps:
1. Locate the JCMOS1 (or JHDA\_SDO1) CMOS clear jumper on the motherboard, which typically features 3 pins.
2. By default, the jumper is placed on pins 1-2. Move the jumper to pins 2-3 to initiate the clear process.
3. Keep the jumper on pins 2-3 for approximately one minute.
4. Move the jumper back to the default 1-2 position.
5. Power on the system.
Note that the IPC will automatically restart three times after clearing the CMOS before booting normally. If the system still fails to boot after clearing the CMOS, it is recommended to perform cross-testing by replacing the CPU, memory module, and power supply.
For the exact location of the jumper on your specific model, please refer to the user manual available on the Vecow website.
